The Wavelength References Clarity laser family locks a laser emission to a molecular absorption l ine. The instrument drives a semiconductor laser in a unique configuration that creates super b frequency stability traceable to a physical constant and thus forms primary frequency standard. The Clarity ca n lock to several transit ions and materials, check for availability.
The locking mechanism also has the ability to narrow the linewidth of the laser which when coupled with our low noise electronic s can achieve a linewidth of <30 KHz making the product idea l for a wide range of interferometric applications . Unlike other lasers marketed at this application the low phase noise persists over even low frequency where often 1/f components are significant and can be troublesome. We can offer custom module or board only designs for OEM applications that have very attractive price, form factor, and power dissipation.

NLL Narrow Linewidth Laser is a compact, ultra-low noise DFB semiconductor laser module. Fully integrated module, ruggedized OEM laser, comprising a semiconductor diode, the linewidth reduction system, the laser driver and electronic controls with a fast modulation input.

The unique technology of the OEwaves Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Laser Module leverages the self-injecti on locking of a suitable commercially available laser diode via a resonant opti cal feedback from a high-Q WGM micro-resonator. Its monolithically integrated approach along with micro-scale mass and volume make the laser virtually insensitive to environmental vibrations.

The 2um Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Laser Module with less than a kHz Lorentzian linewidth in a compact package. The new product extends its line of ultra-narrow linewidth lasers operating in the C-band.

The 2um Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Laser Module is based on the self-injection locking of a semiconductor laser to OEwaves’ proprietary Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) microresonator. The new module also houses a low noise laser driver, TEC drivers, and controller with proprietary algorithm for enhanced performance and stability, all in a small form factor. A built in USB interface enables user-friendly command and control as well as an RS-232 option. The laser module exhibits long term frequency stability, ultra-low frequency noise, and wide thermal tunability.

The 2um Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Laser Module was developed to meet the growing demands of the commercial, defense, and R&D markets for narrow linewidth, single-mode CW sources for a variety of gas sensing, coherent-LIDAR, frequency-conversion, and test and measurement applications.
