The tunable dispersion compensator is a fully integrated module with a wide bandwidth and a large dispersion tuning range to support any 40 Gb/s modulation format. Based on TeraXion's well-established FBG technology, this ready-to-use module integrates a circulator and all the electronics, making it the smallest in the industry. With its embedded channel selector, the ClearSpectrum allows the user to optimize dispersion in a link for any channel, regardless of the channel plan. Therefore, system flexibility is increased and DWDM systems can be operated at higher speeds with improved design margins.

CS-HLDC-High Level Dispersion Compensator
 

Product description

The ClearSpectrum™-HLDC is a static chromatic dispersion compensation module for coherent communication ultra long-haul networks. This 1U half-rack module is specially designed to compensate a large amount of dispersion while maintaining a very low insertion loss. TeraXion’s well-established technology in Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) translates into a reliable and compact solution based on a cascade of several Telcordia qualified gratings. This RoHS compliant solution offers a wide 50 GHz operation bandwidth regardless of the level of dispersion making it perfectly suited for substantial dispersion compensation of 40 and 100 Gb/s coherent detection links.

Pulse Stretchers for Ultrafast Fiber Lasers
 

Product description

Pulse Stretchers for Ultrafast Fiber Lasers PSR are pulse stretchers intended for ultrafast fiber lasers. These chirped fiber Bragg gratings are compact, low-loss components with minimal group delay ripples.

The TPSR allows for precise control of pulse duration in an ultrafast fiber laser. Used as a pulse stretcher, TeraXion's TPSR greatly simplifies the bulk optics alignment of the chirped amplification stage of a femtosecond laser. It allows for dynamic tuning of the pulse duration and the laser output peak power.
